As someone brand new to automation, it took me over a week of testing and multiple MailChimp chats leading nowhere - literally HOURS of wasted time - to finally find out that the tags applied to my newly collected contacts in ManyChat will not import with the email address over in MailChimp. I will have to pay for another app to handle this for me $$$.

This is frustrating and expensive. But what is really annoying is that this basic information (tags don’t transfer) could be stated clearly somewhere within the ManyChat software (the flow itself?) so that hours of time doesn’t have to be wasted testing a flow that actually isn’t wrong. Maybe a little disclaimer pops up saying “hey, btw, if you’re using a tag intended to head over to MailChimp, it won’t work” and then the option to “not show me this message again”.

Try thinking like a client who has no automation experience. This is overwhelming and the time waste is just the icing on the cake.
