Automation for ads

I have a question about automation with ManyChat. A few months ago, I had an automation that worked, but only organically; if I ran a paid ad with it, the automation wouldn't work. I understand that this is no longer an issue, correct? I want to know how to create an automation that works both organically and with paid ads. Do I need to set up two separate automations? One for organic and another for paid? Can I use the same keyword as a trigger for both? Could you please send me a step-by-step guide?
