We have an click on add activated in meta on instagram and Facebook. Separate click on add flow. But the add on instagram is not working correctly. The chat button when they click the automation don’t start. With Facebook it’s working. Thank you.

Hello, I’m new to Manychat and I have been dealing with a problem for a long time. The setup of the meta business account isn’t letting me use Manychat professionally, without limitations. How do I set up meta and Manychat professionally to deliver automations to others?? What do I need to do to set up everything?

Meta are moving to a new version of recurring noticications, starting in Jan 2026, called ‘Marketing Messages’. For all pages established prior to September, you can continue to use the recurrent noticiation functionaility as normal for the time being, but for new accounts you cannot. On my new facebook page/manychat subscription, i can still send the recurring noticiation opt in request, and people can opt in as they could before, i just cannot send recurring noticiation messages.  Does anyone know whether the new ‘marketing messages’ will use the same opt ins as the current recurring noticiations use? or will it be a seperate integration all together? I dont know whether i should continue to get opt ins from users so i can contact them in January if the integration is similar… or if its not worth doing this if the opt in process/api will be different/not transferrable. If anyone, or manychat, have some clarity on this it would be greatly a

I only have my Instagram account connected to ManyChat. My Facebook Page is linked to Instagram on Meta, so my IG posts are automatically cross-posted to Facebook.If someone comments on the Facebook version of a video that was originally posted on Instagram, will that comment trigger my Instagram comment automation in ManyChat, or does the automation only work for comments made directly on Instagram?I want to confirm if linking FB to IG (but not to ManyChat) is enough, or if Facebook comments are ignored entirely.Thanks.

About a whatsapp automation. When it's the other way around, it's easy with an external request and a webhook, but in this case, I can't find any useful trigger in ManyChat.How can I make n8n trigger an automation for whatsapp messaging?

How do I know if automations are working? Do I still need to go into my IG/fb and see if a response was recieved. Thank you in advance! I am very new here.

Hi ManyChat Community and team,  I need escalation to a human/technical team for an Instagram Follow-to-DM trigger issue. Problem:My Instagram “Say hi to new followers” / Follow-to-DM automation is LIVE but never triggers.In the automation Activity, it stays at 0 / n/a after multiple test follows. Other Instagram automations Do work (e.g., comment triggers fire), so the channel is partially functional.  AccountIG handle: @luketencate The automation was working fine, I recently verified the IG account (Blue check)Around 12/26/2

My “say hi to new followers” automation was working great for about a week, a few thousand sends with a good CTR. But suddenly it dropped to zero sends and I have gotten about 2000 followers with no messages sent. I tried deleting and re-creating the automation but still won’t send messages. Credentials look good and I have made no recent changes to my account.

my process is as follow: I have a bunch of automation that are comment to dm, I duplicate the automation and attach it to my latest post,I have done that for the last couple of years from the app on my phone and never had an issue, but over the last couple of days as I click edit, update the automation to attach it to the new post, it gets created but doesn't go live. I have no way of bringing it live unless I use my laptop which is a giant pain as I have one reel/post going up every day and I’m currently not working so need to be managing it from my phone, any advice on whats going on? is there an update I’m unaware of? Ive refreshed permissions, logged in and out etc 

I could not find inbox in ManyChat app nor I could find other channel beside Whatsapp in live chat. I was able to see other channel in web version. The article wrote there is inbox for me to pick different platform (IG, Messenger, Tiktok), however I don’t see any inbox in the app. The live chat channel drop down menu only have open, close, all.Please help. Thank you

So I use the same primary automation every time I post to Instagram, and I simply duplicate the automation, apply it to my new post then just hit “go live” from the app. Recently however, it now takes me to a weird external page that no longer gives me the option to go live from the app - I can only go live from my desktop which is not convenient at all since I post content from my phone. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is ManyChat aware this is happening for some users? I don’t really understand why this regression has occurred, but I’m praying it will go back to how it was because creating a brand new automation every time doesn’t make sense for me.Thank you!

Hey! Trying to connect our IG account to Manychat. Only works through Meta Business Suite in some way, not through the new Unified login. When I try logging in, at the end it says:“• You can't log in with this Instagram accountTry using a Facebook account that you know is connected to this Instagram account”How to solve this, so we can start trying Manychat and use the Follow to DM feature?Tried 2 IG accounts, both the same.

I had a manager connect me with ManyChat a few years ago, but I haven't used it for a while. Trying to create a new connection with it so I can do some automated responses. But as I go up to verify, it tells me that I already am connected. and I need to switch accounts. But every time I switch an account or click the button to switch an account, it just has me doing the same thing over and over again. I feel like I'm in a loop. When I click on the “request” email, it literally sends me back to this same thing. Any help would be great. 

Hi, i have a quick and simple question. If i set “Instagram Post or Reel Comments” Trigger to ANY POST Or If i set “Instagram User Shares Your Post or Reel as a Story” Trigger to ANY POST  Will these triggers still work for ads created in ad management? For the profile that is connected to manychat? The post will not be in my feed, but even if it is created in ads, will it count and the trigger will be activated?

Hello,  I am facing a problem. and don’t know if it’s normal. in de organic automation (comment on post) it’s working fine. But I used the same post/reel in meta to make an add. With automation (click on add) then quick replay en then go to the organic automation. but when people comment the word in the add then it don’t work. Is this normal? 

I have a Pro Plan but I have almost exhausted my contacts, can we purchase additional ones apart from the plan renewal ones?
