General Q&A

Hi everyone,After connecting ManyChat to my Meta account, I suddenly lost access to some of my ad accounts and business assets in Meta Business Suite. My roles and permissions seem to have changed or disappeared without me doing anything manually.Has anyone experienced a similar issue before?Do you know what might cause this or how it can be fixed?Any advice or shared experience would be really appreciated.

Every Instagram automation on my Pro account stopped firing yesterday. Comment triggers, DM keywords, all posts. Nothing changed in my flows. A brand new test automation with a DM keyword also fails.Support (Maya) tested and confirmed no webhook is arriving. I replied with full details on ticket #579123 and haven't heard back. What I've already done:- Refreshed Instagram permissions multiple times, approving everything- Confirmed "Allow access to messages" is on, and toggled it off and on- Confirmed all automations are live- Confirmed Instagram Account Status is clear- Confirmed my Instagram and Facebook Page are in the same business portfolio- Confirmed the Enhanced Connection (ID ending in 612) is under Connected apps in my portfolio, with full Instagram permissions for comments and messagesWhat I can't do:- Support asked me to set the routing app to the 612 connection. That setting doesn't exist on my account. Conversation routing in business settings is empty, and my Page has no "In

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with a ManyChat automation and would really appreciate some help.I built a basic DM automation using the Default Reply. The goal is simple: whenever someone sends a message containing any keyword/message that doesn’t match another specific automation, the Default Reply should trigger and send my predefined automated response. However, I previously connected Manychat AI and fed it the client’s Knowledge Base. It appears that the AI is now interfering with or taking over the Default Reply automation. The problem is that even after: Turning off ManyChat AI Deleting the Knowledge Base Removing/deactivating the AI-related setup …the issue is still happening. The Default Reply does not consistently behave as expected, and it seems like something from the previous AI setup is still affecting the message handling. My question:Is there another place in ManyChat where the AI/Knowledge Base configuration needs to be completely removed or disabled? Could there be

I have tried every option I could find through the ManyChat AI and through Google, but my comment-to-dm on instagram is not triggering at all for new or non-followers who comment on my automation. It worked for long-time followers and for my other accounts though, so I know that it is triggering perfectly fine, just not for any new people on my page. I have set “Connected Tools” to “On” in my Message and Story Replies account settings, made sure the comment trigger is turned “On” in the automaton, refreshed my permissions, etc. I can’t seem to figure out what the issue is and why the trigger is only working for long-time followers. I also have a welcome message automation and it worked for one new follower randomly, but. I have gained about 50-100 new followers in the past week. The AI chatbot is giving me the same answer and I can’t talk to a real person unless I pay for the upgraded account, but before I do that, I need to know if ManyChat even works for what I need!

Hi, i need help with an account issue i cant fix on my own. My IG @unboringvisuals got connected to a duplicate ManyChat account called “Unboring Visuals” that was created by accident during signup, and i cant access it. Every reconnect attempt fails with “already connected to Unboring Visuals”. What i’ve tried: removed Manychat from Instagram’s Apps and Websites (nothing listed there), removed Manychat from Facebook Business Integrations, Refresh Permissions in Manychat, created a fresh account via Facebook login (same error), and Request Access (the approval link just sent me back to the channel picker).Im on the free plan so i cant open a ticket, and the AI bot cant connect me to a human right now. Could a mod please disconnect @unboringvisuals from the duplicate account on the backened? i can verify i own the IG and the linked Facebook page.

Hi there! When I try to connect my primary IG account (I have a number of them), it SAYS it is connected but then connects to a different IG account.  It’s a real problem-- any help? Here are screen shots trying to get in.

I’ve had 78 comments on a new page, around a week old, across 6 videos. I’ve got 750~ followers now.I’ve had 0% delivered which I figured wasn’t right.. so commented with another account to test this out. The message just goes into Spam for this account and it’s the only one that’s flagged as delivered as I opened it and responded. What can I do to fix this? Very disappointed that whilst the posts have generated a bunch of engagement and followers the fact that the messages go straight to spam is just so much lost potential. Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I am having an issue with my whatsapp automation where I cant reply to any customers via manychat even though they message first. It says “You don't have enough money in your Wallet to send the next message. Add funds to keep the conversation going.” It is now a new month so the limits should have reset and it still won’t let me type anything. I used chatgpt and it wasn’t sure what the problem was either as they messaged me first, I am trying to send a normal message not a temporary message, its only a couple hours after they messaged so it can’t be because 24 hours have passed. Additionally, I have not passed my free messages limit and everything is definitely connected properly. This issue has suddenly happened without me doing anything so I am very confusedAny help would be appreciatedThanks

I heard manychat billing plans may change in october. can you tell us what will be the new billing plan options?

Hi everyone,I am having an issue with my whatsapp automation. It is a very basic automation where i have the default reply set which then triggers a couple whatsapp messages to our customers and thats it. I only use the default reply as I want the automation to trigger no matter what the customer says. However, the automation has stopped firing when someone messages. I have used AI to try and figure it out and after checking everything it said to ask manychat directly for help. My default reply is set to:Live and PublishedMessage ‘every time, not once every 24 hours”Definitely toggled on and green  I don’t understand why it is not firing eventhough everything is set up properly but it’s suddenly stopped working. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Hi, I’m trying to connect my busuness Instagram account to ManyChat for the first time, but neither connection method works. What I’ve already checked:I have Full Access to the Business Portfolio  I have Full Control of the Facebook Page  Instagram Allow access to messages is enabled I refreshed Facebook permissions in ManyChat During refresh I granted ManyChat access to all current and future Pages and all current and future Businesses ManyChat confirmed: “The page connection was successfully reloaded”What happens:Connect via Meta previously showed: “You need full control of this business portfolio” After refreshing permissions, Meta now sometimes fails to open the Instagram account and says to try again later Connect via Instagram also fails with: “We couldn’t connect your account / Something went wrong” In ManyChat, Instagram still shows Connect, so the Instagram channel has never actually been connectedMy Facebook Page is already connected to the ManyChat workspace, but Instagram ca

My automations have not been working for the last week. I have refreshed permissions, mulitple times, disconnected MC from my Meta Business Suite and then readded it and then refreshed permissions again and it it still isn’t working. I created a ticket last week. Someone got back to me, I responed and never heard back. This is really frustrating. And for some reason, I am not able to create a new ticket to ask for more help… Can someone please tell me how to get in touch with someoe who can help? Thank you!

Hello and good day.I am trying to connect another instagram account to my existing account. It says request sent but no one is receiving anything.I originally added the instagram to my manychat account. But then wanted the owner to be the primary owner. So I created the manychat account under their email. I was not able to add Instagram to their manychat but it was  originally added to mine. Both accounts are getting the message “Switch Instagram to continue with another account or request access from the owner of ...”How can I fix this?

Hi, I have a Critical support ticket open since yesterday with no human response.Account: fb2059108 — Instagram @yuly_beilinSince Sept 21, no Instagram events reach my account at all: no DMs in the Inbox,no comment automations, no new contacts. The channel shows as connected.I have already refreshed permissions many times, disabled and re-enabled theInstagram channel, revoked and re-granted all Manychat permissions in Facebook, and reverted the Meta Business Portfolio change that triggered this. Nothing helps.Meta Business Suite also cannot access comments on this account. The webhook subscription needs to be re-established on your side. All 13 of my automations are dead and this is a primary lead source. Please have someone look at the ticket.

I wanted to ask why PartnerStack didn’t approve my application to become an affiliate partner. I was previously a partner, but I had to apply for the program again, and this time my application wasn’t approved.

Hi,is there a way to use regular expressions in keyword matching? Often I can’t just list all the possible variants of the keyword (people make a lot of typos there) and good amount of comments or messages are left unanswered. The idea to answer all comments is not viable, there are haters as well, or people not wanting any more info, just leaving a side note, I don’t want to send them any automatic message and use my limits on them. Also I want to match full message in messenger, however, people put a lot of emoticons or all the possible ways of “thank you” there, which breaks the matching. I don’t want to match just a keyword there, I need to match full message. All these issues I have can be easily resolved by utilizing regular expressions into keyword matching. Is it possible? If not, will it be?Thank you.

Hi,I’ve set up a new follower DM automation but it has not sent a single DM. Is the system not working, or is there something I need to change? Thanks

Hello , I'm building WhatsApp automation and need to call openrouter API sometimes it ok but sometimes i get réponse is null...i suspect its related to the 10s Time Out  Need Help Thanks !

I’m a UGC creator so I have multiple social media accounts that I post on. Do I need separate Manychat accounts for each one?

The above notification pops up but no actual message is being sent to the userIssue: Instagram automation works inconsistently. It sometimes runs correctly, but other times it doesn’t trigger at all. What happens:Sometimes the automation runs normally (DM sent, comment reply works). Other times nothing happens at all (no DM, no comment reply).Setup:Using an Instagram Post/Reel Comments trigger. Flow is published and the trigger is active. Instagram permissions were refreshed.Observation:The behavior is inconsistent across multiple test accounts. The trigger only fires once per user per post, which is a known Instagram limitation. Steps already tried:Confirmed the automation is published. Verified the trigger is active. Refreshed Instagram permissions. Tested with multiple accounts.

Manychat requires to pay susciption to import a contact list?? Isn’t a free trial for 14 days?? Thank you!

I’m currently experiencing an issue with an automation connecting ManyChat to Systeme.io through Zapier. The workflow I’m trying to achieve is the following:Instagram → ManyChat → Zapier → Systeme.ioA user comments on an Instagram post, enters a ManyChat automation, and provides their email address. Zapier should then retrieve this email and create or update the contact in Systeme.io, while also assigning the appropriate tag.The problem is that the information collected in ManyChat, particularly the user’s email address, is not being transferred correctly to Systeme.io through Zapier. The email is correctly captured and visible inside ManyChat, but somewhere between ManyChat and Systeme.io the data does not seem to be passed or mapped properly. My Zap currently uses:Trigger: ManyChat Action: Systeme.io — Create/Update Contact Email field: ManyChat User Email Tag: assigned to the relevant campaign/freebieI would appreciate your help checking whether the issue comes from the ManyChat trigge
