Hi… just signed up for Manychat and getting a little frustrated. I have the automations set up and seem to work but the first problem that I’m running into is that the Trigger is not auto-responding to the Instagram comment.So, when a user comments “story”, I just see their reply.  However, my understanding was that the trigger should have auto-commented an answer to their reply. I have an IG Professional account and also see that Manychat is connected. So, not sure what is going on.

I’m a pro user. I am giving away an online product to anyone that comments, DM’s or Messages on both FB and Instagram. I created a simple trigger sequence to deliver a link that sends the to a registration page to access the giveaway. I tested it in MC and it works fine however it is not working from the posts I have put up to promote it. Simply my automations are not working. Any ideas?

Hi everyone,I set up the "Say hi to new followers" automation (BETA) on an Instagram account and it's LIVE, but Insights still shows 0 sends.Setup:- Instagram channel connected, Free plan- Trigger: when someone new follows, delay 5 minutes- Opening DM with a button, then a second DM with 2 link buttons- "Allow access to messages" is enabled in the Instagram app- Automation live since 22.09.2026What I've already checked:- Automation status is LIVE- Instagram permissions refreshed via Settings > Instagram > Refresh PermissionQuestions:1. Does this feature work on the Free plan, or does it require Pro?2. Is there any known delay or limitation (account type, follower count, region/EU) for this BETA feature?3. Hi ManyChat Support, I paid $99 for the Business plan and was then charged another $165 when my active contacts crossed 7,500. My automations have now stopped. Please confirm whether the $165 was charged for an upgrade to Advanced or for contact overages. If it was an upgrade, please confirm that my 25,000 active-contact allowance is active and restore my automations. Please also show the prorated credit applied for my unused Business plan. If the charge was for overages, please explain why the automations stopped, whether an overage threshold was reached, and how the charge will be treated if I upgrade to Advanced within this billing cycle. Please share an itemised breakdown of both charges.

I have an automation set up so that when someone comments with a keyword, a link is sent to them, and there should also be a reply to the comment. The links are being sent, but there are no longer replies to the comments. I that been working properly un until now.Edited to add that there is only one post this is not working on. The others are functioning properly, and it initially started out working just fine on this post.

For some reason, I have two separate Manychat accounts; one connected to my Facebook Page and another connected to my Instagram account. The paid account is currently linked to my Instagram only.I don’t want to start deleting or changing things randomly because I’m worried about breaking the automations that are already running. I want to have both my Facebook Page and Instagram account connected under a single Manychat account.I’ve tried deleting the accounts, cloning them, and moving the accounts/connections, but nothing seems to work. When I try to add my Facebook Page to the Manychat account, it won’t let me, even though the Facebook Page and Instagram account are connected through Meta Business Suite.Has anyone successfully combined Facebook and Instagram under one Manychat account? If so, what’s the correct way to do this without disrupting the existing Instagram automations?Thank you in advance for any support!

Hola, Desde hace 10 días Manychat está sosteniendo un comportamiento irregular, responde de forma intermitente a los comentarios de mis videos y por ende no inicia la comversación por DM y esto está afectando considerablemente mi operación, probé todo lo que se sugiere (Actualizar persmisos, crear automatizaciones desde 0 etc.), la inconformidad que sinto es notable, me gustaría entender el porqué de este comportamiento y cómo lo puedo solucionar, tengo videos con +1200 mensajes y responde un 40% o menos, qué puedo hacer para corregirlo? 

Hi everyone, I need help connecting my Instagram account @digitalklarstart to ManyChat.My Instagram account is Professional, “Allow access to messages” is enabled, and I can log into Instagram normally.I already tried:Connect via Meta Connect via Instagram ManyChat app ManyChat web version logging out of Instagram before reconnecting resetting the Instagram password via SMS recoveryBut every ManyChat connection attempt still shows “Incorrect password”.Has anyone had this exact first-time connection issue? What fixed it?

I have tried every option I could find through the ManyChat AI and through Google, but my comment-to-dm on instagram is not triggering at all for new or non-followers who comment on my automation. It worked for long-time followers and for my other accounts though, so I know that it is triggering perfectly fine, just not for any new people on my page. I have set “Connected Tools” to “On” in my Message and Story Replies account settings, made sure the comment trigger is turned “On” in the automaton, refreshed my permissions, etc. I can’t seem to figure out what the issue is and why the trigger is only working for long-time followers. I also have a welcome message automation and it worked for one new follower randomly, but. I have gained about 50-100 new followers in the past week. The AI chatbot is giving me the same answer and I can’t talk to a real person unless I pay for the upgraded account, but before I do that, I need to know if ManyChat even works for what I need! 

It would be great if there was an auto-delete feature for contacts. I don't need any contacts in Manychat, I use it for the autoresponder and yet I get charged based on contact number, and I only need exactly zero contacts.  I have to log in every few days to delete all my contacts in order to stay under 3,000 contacts and that is a real hassle.  Is there any way to work around this?

Olá, espero que esteja bem! Estamos fazendo um automação, onde a pessoa colcoa a palavra chave na publicação, ai mandamos um direct pra ela pra captar lead. Sendo assim, tem hora que a automação dispara, mas tem horas que que não, o principal padrão é que as vezes perfil que não segue a gente ou que não seguimos não dispara, o direct não ser enviado até entendemos, mas o problema está sendo que nem na publicação está respondendo, o nosso plano ainda é pro.  Me ajudem por favor!!

I'm trying to enable Instagram Follow-to-DM for new followers. My Instagram is already a professional Creator account. When I try to upgrade/reconnect using the connection required for Follow-to-DM, Meta returns “Something went wrong. Please try again.” I've reproduced the issue in Chrome, Safari and the ManyChat mobile app. Can you confirm whether my Instagram account is currently eligible for Follow-to-DM and whether my account is using the required Unified Instagram connection? If I'm eligible, please help resolve the Meta authorization error.

After reading various forums on here and speaking to Meta agents, I disconnected ManyChat (MC) to rebuild trust in my account. I responded to comments manually for over 60 days (note physically impossible to respond to all) and reached a point where response rate was 45-50%. I reconnected MC this week, have limited the number of messages sent (using a niche trigger word) to prevent any “spam-like” behaviour. I set up 10 variations in comment responses, and 12 variations for the DM. These are sent with smart delays and include no buttons or links, just conversational.Despite this, I am back to a 1% open rate. At the same time I have continued to manually send messages with a 4

Goal:I want to connect my Facebook Page to ManyChat so I can build Messenger automation flows for my Facebook Ads.What Happened: During ManyChat onboarding, I was prompted to connect a channel. My Facebook Page did not have an Instagram account connected, so I created a new Instagram Professional Account and linked it to my Facebook Page. After connecting Instagram, ManyChat successfully created a workspace under the Instagram channel. However, when I try to connect the Facebook/Messenger channel, the connection does not complete. Current Behavior: ManyChat can see my Facebook Page. My Facebook Page appears in the permissions and integrations. I have Full Control access to the Facebook Page.
