Hi, We are having issues on couple of our client’s accounts where new follower message if not sending. We have tried the usual fixes, like refreshing your IG permissions but they don’t work. One client also reported that when he tried to refresh his permissions, it would just open the IG inside of the pop-up window, instead of presenting buttons to confirm the permissionsWe have also found other bugs with the New follower automation as well, such as if someone quickly follows, unfollows, and then follows again, they will start the automation twice, even thought it should be only one time thing per lead, if I’m not mistaken

They get a DM from me (Thanks for following, as a part of the crew we would love to send you a freebie gift)3. They hit the Button “Yes, sounds good!”4. NOW I want another automation to begin, that collects the First Name and E-Mail Adress. However, the Follow DM option only lets me send a message (+link).Question: When I have another automation going with the Trigger Phrase “Yes, sounds good!” - will it be activated? Or must the Trigger Phrase/Word be the FIRST message someone sends me via DM?So basically:DM Flow: Someone follows → DM → User sends “Yes, sounds good!”Leadgen Flow: Trigger “Yes sounds good!” → Collect Data (E-Mail, First Name) → Send freebie via E-MailThank you so much for your help! 

It saids this function is unavailable. How do I fix the issue? 

I track every new follower and I noticed that manychat is not consistent with profiles it sends the automated welcome message to. on my recent 55 followers manychat sent the message to 23/55 (42%) of new followers. Is this common or is there a fix for this?

Hello Manychaters,I need help setting up the "Instagram Comment Automation" (Auto-DM) for specific ads created directly in Meta Ads Manager.The problem: These are Dark Posts, so they do not appear on my main Instagram profile feed. Consequently, I cannot find them in the "Select Publication" list in ManyChat triggers.My constraint: I cannot use the "Any Post" trigger because I am promoting multiple different offers simultaneously (Summer Camps, Weekend Tours, etc.), and I need to send a different specific flow for each ad.The question: Is there a way to connect a specific Flow to a specific Ad Post ID manually? Or is the only solution to use "Any Post" combined with unique keywords for each ad creative?Thanks for your help!

I’m honestly thinking about shutting most of my ManyChat automations off for now. Over the past couple of weeks I’ve had automations randomly fire in the middle of real conversations with people. Someone will reply to a story or send a message and suddenly an old funnel message jumps in even though that funnel is already turned off.It’s starting to interfere with real conversations with potential clients, which obviously isn’t ideal.Has anyone else run into this? I’m considering simplifying everything down to one trigger for now while I figure out what’s causing it.

Hello, I have tried to use the utility message but every message that I put is rejected. From looking on META, it looks like you have to follow a certain format to get accepted but it is not clear, how to get these messages on Manychat. Any help appreciated on what to do. I am trying to reach contacts outside of the 48 hour period. Thanks 

Hey, so suddenly my Manychat account stopped automations, stopped updating convos, and wouldn’t allow me to send messages.I refreshed permissions, tried every workaround possible and went as far as deleting my instagram account from Manychat and reconnecting it (losing all my conversations and contacts), thinking that would solve the issue.But no, after reconnecting the account, chats do update now, but cant send messages. NOTE: I have NO restrictions on Instagram’s side, so the issue is on Manychat’s integration or Manychat blocking my ability to send messages…Any way of fixing this? I’m attaching a screenshot belowI have tried to reach support but we all know how that is innefficient and a “ticket” was created. If there is known workaround, or at least any other MC alternatives? thanks 

Twilio Issue? My SMS automation won’t trigger when I add a tag. The trigger is enabled. I added the contacts manually. These are one on one clients who would like to receive check-ins from me. The first message is the SMS opt-in. Hello… Total newbie to ManyChat. I am using the free trial for now with plans to upgrade to Pro once I understand how to do certain tasks. Here is what I need help with and have no idea how to set this up. On particular IG posts, in the description, I will be asking users to Comment “Wine” in order to receive a Free PDF guide. In addition, I will be telling them to follow me on Instagram first, so I can DM them.  IG won't deliver the DM if they are not  following. Once the users follow my page, ManyChat will automatically respond to these comments with a line that says something like, “Sending over my Free Guide now. Please check your DM”ManyChat will then send a DM to each of these users….Thanks for requesting the free PDF guide! (the PDF guide will be attached) I would then take over, and personally DM the next day with an upsell to receive the full PDF guide. What is the proper way to set this up? Thanks, Steve 

I have a problem. I deleted ManyChat to access the beta version for sending automatic DMs, however now I have the automations set to Live but none of them are triggering. I NEED HELP :(

Hi guysI have just paid the $99 subscription to add a team member as an inbox agent. but they can only get full inbox permissions in EITHER instagram or messenger, not both?Does the $99 not give them access to all my connected account inboxes?

Hello beautyfull individuals, I recently purchased a pro version to auto dm new followers and also send a dm based on a keyword on a specific real. It worked well for few hours and now, i don't understand why but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't for both automation... i have the feeling to waiste money because only 1/3 of dm has been sent automatically.I tried to refresh permission, update keyword to "all comment" but it doesn't change... Some of you did experience something similar? Any known fix or should i unsubscribed ? Thanks

I understand that WhatsApp is planning a change where the WhatsApp ID will be based on a username rather than a phone number.My question is: will the WA_ID in ManyChat change as well?Many of my flows rely on this field and on collecting this data, so I’m trying to understand how this might affect my setup. If the WA_ID is indeed going to change, which field in ManyChat should I use in order to collect or reference the user’s phone number instead?Thanks in advance to everyone who can help clarify this.

Hi,I am trying to subscribe to the Pro plan, which is advertised as starting at $15/month. However, on the checkout page, the total amount shows as $31.70.I currently have 0 contacts in my account, so I should fall into the lowest tier (0-500 contacts). I don't understand why the price has more than doubled.Could you please check my account and let me know why this is happening? I want to make sure I’m not being overcharged before I complete the payment.Thank you.

Help! I switched from Mobile Monkey to ManyChat, everything is set up, live, etc but the automation flows aren’t working (ie when I comment on a post it’s not sending DMs and it’s not welcoming new followers). I’ve disconnected and reconnected the accounts, confirmed message replies are good in IG (they were sending an hour ago via MobileMonkey) - I removed Mobile Monkey’s permission via FB.Anyone deal with this before?

Manychat somehow swapped my email to an old email from college that doesn’t even exist anymore. So, I have no way of accessing it on the desktop and getting into my account. I’m confused how this happened because all the emails go to another email, so this is odd. Could someone assist me with this?

Hi,I have created my first automation using flows and now I am just duplicating it. However, everytime I edit the new duplicate and make it live, a popup “Your first automation is live!” shows with celebrations. It was fun the first time, the 45th time it is already too much.Any idea? It seems it’s somehow keeping the tag of the first automation even for duplicates.Thank you in advance.
