Hi everyone,

Sorry to disturb you with my simple and easy issue but I can’t fix it by myself since two days and it’s getting me mad.

I try to set up a default reply with whatsapp, just the first test, to reply “hello world”… and it doesn’t work

My default reply is sent on the trigger “User send a message”. The trigger is on and activated everytime. The workflow is live.

In my whatsapp settings, the default reply is defined. My account status is approved, number status connected and credit line shared.

On https://status.manychat.com/, I can see that there is no issue with Whatsapp API..

When I send a whatasapp on the connected number linked to my account, I can see the message in the Livechat section but the default reply isn’t sent..

Can you help me to figure out what’s the issue ?

To give you the most information I can, when I try to reply manually in the Livechat section, I have the same message back since two days “ Something went wrong on the server. Please try again”.

PS : sorry if my english is not perfect, english is not my mother tongue

Hey @Bazargones if the "Hello World" message doesn't work, try the following:

  1. Refresh Permissions - https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/14281464342684-Refresh-permissions - This solves most of the issues
  2. Try with a different phone or users - every now and then something happens with a specific profile, so testing with another user account may help you figure out the issue
  3. Talk to support at https://help.manychat.com - if something is broken you'll need support to assist you

I tried different solutions and checked that I am admin both in manychat and in facebook but I don’t have the “Refresh persmissions” button in the Help section.. Do you know why ?

Hey, @Bazargones!

Check if your Facebook/ Instagram connections are active and you will see a Refresh Permissions button going to Settings/ Messenger (or Instagram) at the channels.

 

Also… Check if your WhatsApp account is “green” at the settings menu...
