There is a new feature in Manychat where you can connect Manychat Instagram account to Meta Conversions API. But I don’t see how to use it in Meta Ads Manager. Any guess?

Should it be used with Meta Pixel in “Sales” ads? Then how to choose respective button in an automation as an conversion event?

Please note that the Manychat Conversion API feature sends two - and only two - specific events to the Meta Events Manager via the Conversions API: LeadSubmitted and Purchase
 
These events are the only ones passed through the API, and here is how they are triggered and sent to Meta:
 

  • LeadSubmitted is triggered when a Contact clicks through an ad configured with an Ad trigger or provides their email or phone number in a User Input block;
  • Purchase is triggered when a user successfully completes a purchase using the Buy Button;

 
No other events are passed to the Meta Events Manager because these two events were the only ones explicitly configured during Dataset creation.
