I am running an Ai Customer Service bot for my clients. The bot runs through the Instagram DMs. The problem is, once the flow halts at the ‘AI Step’ block for too long, the bot / system automatically sends an outreach message, but it is entirely random and all of the time unrelated to the topic of the conversation. 

For example, we could be talking about a product which is a breathing supplement and The bot has asked ‘How can I help you today’

 

When the customer hasn’t replied, the outreach message is something like “Hey gname] I wanted to touch base on your gardening appointment, any thoughts on when we can meet?” 

I can’t find a way to change what the outreach message is nor can I see the option to disable it.

I am lost, help 🙏

Hey @Seth you can't directly change the follow-up message as far as I'm aware.

I'd try modifying the prompt you have, giving specific instructions for the follow-up message, and testing to see how it behaves.

Also, contact customer support at https://help.manychat.com so they can help you. This feature is being developed and they may have some advice on how to best proceed in these cases.
