I just noticed there is “AI step” option in the automation now…
it cost pretty much more than just the automation so i would like to know if anyone tried ?
is it GPT-4 level of answers ? does the chat bot remember the answers of lead within a chat to continue the conversation properly ?
is it really much better than openAI integration which is way cheaper for me currently..
and last question this one about OpenAI integration : Can anyone help me with setting up an AI chatbot for IG ? i already set it up actually, answers are ok but the way i did the bot has no memory at all about what has been said in the chat so he repeat the same thing many times it look stupid :P
i’m learning fast just need some guidance how to do..

Hey @ai.motiv8r, Manychat AI was just released last week and it’s still in Beta as far as I know.
As for the OpenAI integration, to have memory you have to implement it using the API and external requests, not Manychat’s native ChatGPT action step. I have it working for several clients with memory, but it’s a manual setup inside Manychat where you’re handling the messages.
I have it also working with Assistants API, which allows you to train your AI and has memory built-in.
It’s a bit complicated to explain how it all works here, but I’d be happy to walk you through it on a consulting call if you want.
