Automation is sent without the button

Hi everyone, I could really use your help.

I’m running into a frustrating issue with my automation in ManyChat. Sometimes the button I’ve added to a message shows up and works perfectly — and other times, only the message is sent without the button. When that happens, the flow gets stuck and users can’t continue.

I haven’t changed anything in the setup between times when it works and times when it doesn’t, so I have no idea what’s causing this inconsistency.

This is really hurting my CTR, and I’ve been getting messages from users saying they didn’t receive the guide I promised them.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what might be going wrong or how I can fix it?

Thanks so much in advance 🙏

Hi @orit koskas ,

Here are a few steps you can take to help identify and resolve the issue:

- Make sure the message you're trying to send does not exceed 640 characters. There is a character limit, and if you're using dynamic fields that occasionally generate longer messages, this could cause an error.

- Check if the issue might be related to desktop use. Sometimes, buttons don't work as well on desktop and are better suited for use in the mobile app. If that’s the case, consider using simple links in the text instead of buttons.

- Try updating your Instagram permissions in ManyChat. To do this, go to Settings > Instagram and click Update Permissions. This may help fix certain errors.

- If none of the above steps solve the issue, I recommend reviewing this ManyChat article on common Instagram problems:

- As a last resort, if nothing works, you can also submit a request to the ManyChat support team here:
