Hi! 

I’ve set an automation to reply on a specific WhatsApp message as a way to register visitors to my business.

What I experienced yesterday, while receiving about 40 people at the same time, is that in some cases (2-3 people) the automation started, asked for the name, the people responded and the automation didn’t follow up with the next message… 

 

Is there a limit?

Or how could I make sure this doesn’t happen again?

 

What should people do in those cases?

Send the initial message again to start over?

There isn't a limit, and if it's not triggering you should check your setup to make sure it's working as you intended.

As for the people who already replied and didn't get the message, you have 2 options:

  • Tell them to try the keyword again
  • Send the Automation you had setup via the Live Chat to each person

People will need to be within the 24-hour window so you can message them. If they aren't, you'll need to use message templates.
