Automation On/Off - can it be set based on Time Limit?

MichaelVGG

So once you have an automation flow, there is the little ‘on and off’ switch that can be triggered manually.

Is there a way to set an automation flow to be turned off or on based on time in a day? i.e. day/month/year and hours/minutes/seconds?

Hi, @MichaelVGG!

Sadly, there's no way to automatically turno the triggers on/off. But if you need an automation to work only between some time period or specific days, you can set a condition right after your triggers and use the Current time filter to define when it should continue or not:

Here's an example of how it works:

In this case, if someone triggers the automation from monday to friday, between 9-16h, it will continue the flow.

If it''s triggered outside that period, you can leave it blank or add some tag to identify the contacts that got in contact.

AND… if you wish to send something the next day to those that got in contact outside the time period, you can set a Smart Delay like this:

Hope this helps somehow. 🙌
