“Thank you for reaching out!

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to remove a sign-in option, such as Telegram, once it’s been added to your account. This limitation is due to security features designed to protect account access and integrity.

If you have any concerns about this or need help managing your account, feel free to let me know. I’m here to assist!”

I simply do not understand why this is considered a ‘security feature’. Picture this: in the event your telegram account is compromised, and you are unable to retrieve said telegram account, how am I supposed to prevent the person from accessing my Manychat account? Why can’t I have a way to authenticate myself so I can initiate the removal of other sign-in options?

1. Create a new Manychat account
• Use a different sign-in method (Google, Facebook, etc.) to create a new Manychat account.
2. Accept admin invitation from the old account
• From your existing Manychat account (with the Telegram sign-in), send an admin invitation to your new Manychat account. This will transfer access to the old account to your new credentials.
3. Remove the old account as admin
• Once your new account is set up as the admin, you can log in using the new account and remove the old account (with Telegram sign-in) from the admin list. This effectively disconnects the Telegram-associated account from being able to access your Manychat workspace.

This approach ensures that you regain full control over your account while mitigating any security risks associated with a compromised Telegram account.

This is the second reply I've received. Are we supposed to just abandon our primary email address and migrate to a new email address simply because our secondary sign-in option is compromised on Manychat? I am at a loss for words regarding the logic behind this ‘security feature’.

I can't be the only one who find this ridiculous...

We have the same issue. A college accidentally connected his private Facebook account to the general Account, we are using, to work in all costumer accounts. So basically now his name is shown in every account instead of the real account name. Even if he's leaving the company sometime, he will remain access to all those accounts.

The only solution we got offered is to invite a new account in all of these accounts and transfer ownership in all of our accounts. Not really a solution, more like creating more work...
