Best practices for keywords?

Looking for recommendations for best practices for 2 things:

  1. How do you like to select your keywords? How do you make them easy enough to comment, while unique enough not to accidentally happen?
  2. How do you share the keyword (specifically in IG)

If I say “Comment below with KEYWORD” I think IG will flag that and I won’t get as much traction. What are more unique ways to say that?

@bryankoci using ‘comment with KEYWORD’ will work, but yes, Meta may see that as engagement baiting and penalize your account. You can still use it, but don’t abuse it ;)

If you’re going to use it, use post-specific triggers (so you can have specific keywords), and you can also use keywords + a number (something like INFO1). This avoids unintentional triggers.

My favorite way though is to use post-specific triggers (that work only on one specific post), not use any keywords, and just invite people to comment to get whatever I’m offering.

So, if I’m offering my Spaghetti recipe, I could say something like ‘comment with your favorite pasta and and I’ll send you this recipe’. This promotes a more genuine engagement and avoids engagement baiting triggers.

Hope this helps ;)
