I have the plan that allows 500 contacts per month, and I’m marketing my chatbot VERY widely. I’m afraid of exceeding my 500 limit by thousands, and being charged a LOT of money. Is there a way that I can put a limit on the maximum number of contacts the automation will allow?
Hey,
Yes, it’s possible to do it and you have two ways to do it.
- Manually
Go to contacts → select which contact(s) you want to delete → click on “bulk actions” → choose the option “delete”.

You can filter your contacts if you need it:

- Automatically
Create a new automation and select the trigger “contact event occurs”

Inside the trigger, you can “customize it” and set some conditions (optional)
In this example, this event will trigger after 5 days after the last interaction with me. Also, I set two conditions: First name and email are unknown. Which means, if someone contacted me, and they haven’t their name and email saved in my Manychat account, I won’t need them there.

After this trigger, you just need an action block to delete the contact.

Let me know if this helps.
Be aware that after you're doing this, you won’t be able to send any content to them until they reach out to you again, and all the data you possibly have about them, will be permanently deleted from your account.
