Can't broadcast to my subscribers

Hi, I wonder how to send broadcasting(messages) to my subscribers within the system, not e-mails? It shows following message: "0 subscribers will receive this broadcast
Try selecting others or reducing some of them. You also have the option to import new contacts."

The AI agent couldn’t solve this.

I tried to look up some instruction videos on Youtube, but they didn’t address this issue and it looked like those people making the video the system did automatically assigned the broadcasting to the subscribers without any such errors. I have obtained consent in the opt-in flow.

Thank you for any insights.

That's correct.

They need to explicitly optin to a Messenger List.

Here's some documentation that may help you:

@userguy which channel are you using?

There's a 24 hours rule in place for IG, Messenger and Whatsapp.

For Messenger, you can use Messenger lists as alternative, but you need to get people to explicitly optin.

For Whatsapp you can send paid message templates.

For Instagram you there's no way to send messages after the 24 hours from the last interaction.

Thanks for the reply. I got some contacts from Facebook ad where some people opted-in through the FB messenger. Even those subscribers do not show up in the broadcasting contacts.

OK, thanks again. So basically this means I have wasted ca. 200 Euros on ads and few months on Manychat subscription. I placed an opt-in button, the  only one that was available if I remember correctly, there inside the funnel so I thought it is ok. How can I acquire the consent afterwards from those subscribers?

@mcaccount the use of tags is really strict…

So unless you have a ver specific user case that fits the tags usage, I wouldn't recommend using them for broadcasts at all.

Hi, what setup is required to enable me to send broadcasts to users who message my page?

@mcaccount check this guide here:

It shows the steps to get this set up correctly.
