Caution When Hiring ManyChat Experts – My Recent Experience

Hi everyone, I wanted to share an experience so others can be aware and hopefully avoid a similar situation.

Back in February, I hired a ManyChat agency called Monada, owned by Fabio Gaulke, to optimize flows for my business. We began communicating on February 12, and I paid $1,500 for the project.

As of today, April 28th, the work has not been completed, and I have not received any response to my follow-up messages on WhatsApp since March 25th. Communication has completely stopped despite multiple attempts to reach out.

The main reason I felt comfortable moving forward with this partnership was because Fabio was listed as a ManyChat moderator within this community, which led me to believe he was a trusted and vetted resource.

At this point, I’ve had to hire a new expert to complete the work, meaning I’m now paying twice for the same service.

I’m sharing this for transparency and to help others make informed decisions when hiring. I would also appreciate clarity from the ManyChat team on how situations like this are handled, especially when someone is positioned as a trusted member of the community.

If anyone has had a similar experience or has advice on next steps, I’d appreciate hearing from you.

Hi @LunaF, I want to publicly apologize to you. You are absolutely right to be frustrated. As I mentioned to you in a private message today, I went through a sudden and severe health crisis that took me completely offline. I have only just returned home in the last couple of days to realize the impact of my absence, and I failed in not having a backup plan to communicate with you earlier.

I have just reached out to you from my new business WhatsApp number to coordinate the full refund of your investment immediately. I deeply regret the impact this had on your business, and I am taking this time to restructure how I work to ensure this never happens again.

Again, I am truly sorry.
