Hello we have a problem that is going to get worse and worse in the coming days.
From our appointment scheduling system, we have a flow that we report in a custom field in Manychat of type date time the date and time of the appointment, and we send several messages to our patients about their appointment reporting the date and time.
Our account time zone is:

Everything was working fine, until today we started scheduling appointments for April 1 and later (the daylight saving time changeover date in 2025 is March 30). The problem is that our system reports via API the time in GMT, and Manychat is not updating correctly that April 1, 2025 is GMT+2 in Europe/Madrid.

I understand this is a problem with the Manychat platform, how can we fix it?

@flonvital I'd create some logic in Manychat to solve these issues.

For example, if the date is after April 1st, add/remove one hour.

If you're using Make/Zapier/N8N you could also do this time adjustment there before sending to Manychat.

As far as I know Manychat at this stage does not report DST settings, but you have GMT/UTC time, so you'll need to set the adjustments yourself to make it work like you'd like.

And yes, DST support is definitely a good idea, I'd suggest you add it to the Ideas section (https://community.manychat.com/ideas?sort=votes.desc)

Hi Gustavo, I was wondering if on April 1 Manychat would switch to DST and I would have a problem again. That's why I was waiting for someone to tell me if Manychat supports DST.

Thanks for your reply, I will switch to DST before sending it to Manychat.

@flonvital reach out to support to check if there's DST support or if anything changes on April 1st.

I don't think there's support, but I've never tested it. Support will give you the definitive answer! ;)
