I understand that having Facebook contacts is helpful because I can broadcast to those who have opted in.

However, can I just delete the contacts from instagram or those who haven't opted in for broadcasts? I dont see their purpose as I cannot contact them and dont care about their tagged data

Hello @adamyounggolf ,
Yes, you can delete contacts without any issues. In fact, you can automate this process by creating a dedicated flow for deleting contacts. Here is how you can set it up:

The trigger for this flow should be “Contact Events”, and you can select the event type “Based on Date and Time”. Once selected, you will be able to choose the date field that will act as the trigger — for example, the contact’s subscription date.

You can configure it to run, for instance, 2 days after the contact’s subscription.

However, it is very important to set conditions to ensure the flow runs safely and does not delete unintended contacts.

For example, you can add two conditions:
- The contact subscribed via Instagram.
- The contact did not subscribe via Messenger.

Finally, to delete the contact, simply add an action block and look for the option “Delete Contact”.
