Hello everyone!

I'm going through a very annoying issue. When the user interacts with the flow I created on Manychat, triggering any kind of action, at certain moments in the flow, some buttons appear duplicated.

Buttons from the beginning of the flow are showing up along with buttons from the middle or the end of the flow.

It's funny because when the user leaves the conversation and comes back, the duplicated buttons disappear.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I can't take it anymore, I don't know if it's a bug with Instagram or with Manychat itself, because the flow built in Manychat is perfectly correct.

Can someone help me?

This is a problem that haunts some automations... 🫠

The workarounds I use to prevent that are two:

  1. Use Quick Replies instead of Buttons
    • They aren't affected by this “ghost options”.
    • Only drawback is that they don't have the option to insert an URL

    •  

  2. If you prefer using buttons, insert two with the same meaning and connect them to the same next step
    • Made some tests and this prevents other buttons to appear
    • Never had problems with steps + Buttons including URLs. In these cases, I just leave one Button with the URL.

    •
