Eager to learn, but igsummit.com has riskware.

SomethingElse

I’ve been eager to learn from igsummit.com after purchasing the courses offered there.
However, I get malware & riskware warnings from many anti-virus and protection softwares and websites.

What is this issue really about? Will it ever be fixed?

Hi @SomethingElse,

I’m sorry to hear you are facing this issue.

Our Security Team has checked with the vendors that it was a False Positive that has been fixed. You can confirm that the IG Summit website is safe in this anti-virus aggregator report by Virustotal (owned by Google): https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/07cd4f01271c45cf6d8b6cecf49d6e828853035aae52d21f7d6abdbff88cbcd1?nocache=1

Hey Marina,

It was a little worrying at first but I too ran checks at my end and had a suspicious that it was a False Positive too. While some site still show it as riskware, most sites no longer do that.

Thank you for getting back to me. I can confirm safe entry into the site now from different devices I own tested under various situations, all without the error.

Have a great day!
