Facebook connection Error - "Something went wrong"

Hello ManyChat Support Team,

I’m currently experiencing an issue when trying to connect my Facebook account/page to ManyChat. During the connection process, the system shows the error message “Something went wrong”, and the connection cannot be completed.

Could you please help check this issue and advise how to resolve it?

    This error usually means a Facebook permission or browser session problem, not that your Page is broken.
    ManyChat’s help says the first things to try are:

    1. Make sure you have full access/admin rights to the Facebook Page
    2. In Facebook, open Business Integrations and remove ManyChat
    3. Then connect again and choose Edit previous settings / allow all permissions
    4. Try the connection in an incognito/private window
    5. If needed, log out of both Facebook and ManyChat, then log back in and try again.

    Also check:

    • if the Page is already connected to another ManyChat account, Facebook may not let you connect it again normally
    • if that is the case, you may need the current owner to transfer access.

    So the short answer is:

    “Something went wrong” usually comes from missing permissions, old saved Facebook auth, or the Page already being linked somewhere else.
    If the steps above do not fix it, contact ManyChat Support.
