How can I start a new conversation on WhatsApp through the link? I have a button on my website that took me directly to the conversation with my customer with a pre-written message, can I change this link to open this conversation in ManyChat?

Thank you Rodrigo, thanks for the answer. The question would actually be the opposite. This link you showed me is for the person to contact me. What I need is a link to go directly to the conversation with the respective client. On WhatsApp it is a link followed by the number I want to talk to. Did I get the idea across? Is there any way to do this?

Hi, @Douglas!

You're probably talking about links like this: https://wa.me/5547999492100?text=Hello
That's something that Meta lets you do with WhatsApp.

Manychat's Live Chat link has a different structure and can't receive a message/text parameter.

You'll somehow have to get the User ID or store it into your CRM/database to build these links.

And there's no way (at the moment) to include some pre-text as a parameter.

Hey, @Douglas

When you create a new automation, choose the trigger “user click a link

Then, set up the pre-written message

At the end, copy and past your link in your website.

Let me know if it helped 🙂
