How to mark conversation as closed after replying to comment?

Hi guys,

 

I use Manychat for a couple weeks already, and there is one automation I would like to implement. We receive a lot of comments under posts, Manychat sets the info directly, replying to comment on post and sensing info via Messenger. I would like to all of them to be marked as closed as soon as it will be done . As soon As I am doing that automation, I am getting message as below:

 

 

I have searched through many posts, I do not want to delete contact - it is not about the bill, it is only about keeping business suite inbox clean.

Hey, ​@RommelPL 

Receiving that message means that your first message has something you can’t have there. 
Meaning: After the trigger “When a user comment on a post or reel”, your first message should include a text message and a button or quick reply. You can’t collect users’ data in that block.

 

If you want to close the conversation, you can add an action block to do that.
Choose an action block → Live chat → Mark conversation as Closed

Hi Rodrigo,

 

This is exactly what I am doing. I have tried to add any step, delay and then action “Mark conversation as closed”, or straight as you suggested, result is as above :)

@RommelPL Can you share your automation here? Maybe a screenshot. 

Additionally, check your first message block. You can’t have data collection on that.
