First, when they reply through the Live Chat the ‘Pause’ should automatically start, which will stop the automations for a period of time.
Next, you can instruct your client to send a specific flow, or add a specific tag to leads that they interact with. With that tag you can setup your logic so that all other automations are stopped. Or you can show the client how to pause automations forever for that user also.
This is a matter of finding the right process with the client, that fits into their workflow and makes sense for them and the leads.
