I have a flow in Manychat that connects a chatbot made on Voiceflow with several social networks like Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram.

Recently i´m having problems whit the connection to Instagram. When i text with the chatbot on IG the messages send and error when getting to certain part of the chatbot´s flow instead of following like it should it just goes back to the beggining of the chatbot flow and starts again.

Already tried changing the flow in Manychat and Voiceflow but nothing and those same flows are working perfectly on the others plataforms, also refreshed the permissions and disconnected and connected the Instagram account again just in case. Can somebody tell me why this happens?

Hi, @Neurona!

Which kind of errors happen? Could you share more info about it?

Also how did you build the integration between both tools? Via HTTP (External) Requests?

Hi, @Fabio Gaulke, thanks for answering.

The error thats happening right now is that when the flow gets to a point it basically resets the conversation with the chatbot. For example normally an user would initiate the conversation and ask question to the chatbot and it will answer back. Then, if the user asks to schedule a date the voiceflow will take them to a section where the information needed will be asked, like names and such. Now everytime an user asks for a date and they write their name to schedule it, the flow wont recognize this action and instead it resets back to answering question.

Yes i built this integration using External Requests. But that seems to be working just fine in the other plataforms like Facebook and WhatsApp, so i dont know if the problem is on the Manychat front or Instagram.

That's odd…

Is there a chance that you're using any kind of keyword that triggers when the contact responds the asked information?

Sometimes the logic behind the steps could also cause something like this… But as it is working well with other channels, the chance of that is minimal (but check it anyways).

I don't know how big your automation is but sometimes recreating it from scratch could work (you never know if some weird cache can cause things like that).

And… if nothing works… I'd suggest opening a ticket to the support team at Manychat Help
