What exactly are you doing? How are you testing it?

if they open links from reputable sites like amazon.com etc. it works. but from my own websites it dont

In that case you need to debug your site and see what's happening.

Check that you're using HTTPS instead of HTTP, that your site does not throw any warnings or errors when you open it from a browser, and so on.

Also, if you're redirecting to affiliate links, try with a normal link with no affiliate content.
