hello, i have Manychat pro and refreshed permissions BUT i typed a keyword to get some stickers (freebie) from an instagram post, i received the chat immediately to my inbox, I clicked the button to receive freebie but its saying ‘hmmm cant connect manychat?? what is this?’ Im concerned that this happens with my own automations to others! Also i checked on the instagram end in settings and permissions, thats all fine.

Hey, @Charmaine!

Is the link in the button with in “full format"? (https://...)

Ignoring this could break links sometimes.

Also… test it with Manychat's link shortener disabled:

  • Settings/ General/ Card URL Shortener.

One more test is recreating the automation from scratch. It's super rare, but I had some problems that vanished after recreating the same automation.

And, of course, if it still doesn't work, I'd recommend opening a ticket to the support team at Manychat Help

Hope this helps!

Hiya, thanks for your reply, I think you misunderstood me.

someone made a post asking audience to comment a keyword.

i did just that and got a response in my dm.

i clicked the link in the dm and got this page…I tested it with other keywords I’ve commented on and everything is the same, not working..

I have spoke with the bot, I’ve refreshed permissions, my insta cache cleared, logged out, logged back in, my fb is fine too so I’m at a loss and they can’t do business as I can’t follow their links! ☺️

Ow! I see… The problem is on the other side! 😅

They're probably using some broken link or are having server-side problems…

In other words… they have to check and fix it. Nothing you do will change this error… 🙃

Ohh wow! There’s a lot of people that need to check their links then! I mean I tried 5 different people prompts and all saying ManyChat not safe 🤷‍♀️

This happens sometimes. As Meta changes some rules, so does Apple, Android, Windows, Mac and son on… And the result is some weird and wrong classifications of “dangerous” links…

It can take some days, but it tends to resolve itself 😅
