Is there anyone of you who were able to add a user to an IG automation manually. We were having some issues with IG automated DMs this past week and we missed a lot of people. We wanted to DM them with the actual message that they are supposed to receive but we cannot. So, I was wondering if there’s a way we can just manually add them to the workflow.

Yes, there is a way, but the user needs to interact with your account (by DM) first.
1º Send a manual message to the user you want to send the automation (and wait for their reply)
2º Send them the automation you want.
To send an automation, go to the live chat and select the option “automation”. There you can choose any automation you want.

I don’t think there is a way to manually add people to an automation in ManyChat, at least I haven’t had any luck finding a way to do so. But I think I might have a workaround for you.
If you create a new automation with the same message that your followers missed out on, and then set the trigger as a “tag is added to contact”. You will need to have a Pro account to have that feature available as a trigger.
So the idea would be to set up the automation, turn it live, and then tag all the users that missed out. That should trigger the automation, and then all your followers will get what they want without you having to send them individual messages.
