Hey, my clients use refferal link, and when they click it, it sends first message multiple times. I’m using Manychat for 3 years, and it has never happened to me. I used refreshed permissions and still didn’t fix the issue. What should I do?

I’m sorry to hear that because I know it’s annoying, but here are my 3 suggestions:

  1. Unpublished changes in your Opt-In Message: Make sure to publish any recent changes to your flow. Go to your Growth Tool, check if the Publish button is highlighted in blue, and if so, click it to save and update your Opt-In message.
  2. Handover Protocol issues: Ensure Manychat is set as the Primary Receiver for your Facebook Page. Go to your Page's Settings > Messenger Platform > App Settings > Configure, and assign Manychat the 'Primary Receiver' role.
  3. Other chatbot programs: Check if you're using any other chatbot programs with your Facebook Business page. These might interfere with Manychat automation. Review your Business integrations and disable any other chatbot programs to ensure Manychat works smoothly.
