Hi everyone,

I’m having some trouble connecting my ManyChat account to my Facebook Ad Account and Conversion API, and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Here’s the situation:

  1. Account X is the Admin and Owner of:

    • The Facebook Page connected to ManyChat.
    • The Ad Account I’m trying to connect.
    • The Business Manager where the Conversion API token was generated.

  2. My ManyChat account is linked to the same Facebook Page that’s managed by Account X.

I’ve tried connecting:

  • Through Facebook, and
  • Using the dataset and token option with the Conversion API.

No matter which method I use, the connection just doesn’t work, and I can’t figure out why. I get the “Invalid Conversions API credentials”

What I’ve Checked So Far:

  • Account X has full Admin access to everything (Page, Ad Account, and Business Manager).
  • The Conversion API token was generated in the same Business Manager as the Page and Ad Account.
  • The Page and Ad Account are properly connected in Meta Business Suite.

What I Need Help With:

  1. Why isn’t the connection working if everything is owned and managed by Account X?
  2. Are there any extra steps I should take or common issues I might have missed when setting this up?

I want to track when a user clicks on a button in a flow in messenger from a ad in the messenger

    Thanks.

+1

Hey, @OliverDK and @maks.berryagency

I’ve got the same problem this week. I had this set up in my Manychat account and then, after a situation I has in my Manychat account, my conversion API was disconnected. I spoke today with Meta’s support team to help me figure it out.

Their response was “Connect data source” and it worked.

I really hope you can fix this! 🙌🏼

Hi - i already tried dataset / data source and not working.

@OliverDK You can try to talk with Manychat Support team to be sure there isn’t anything on their side.
