My ManyChat subscription is pro. I did the integration with Hotmart, everything was fine, following the tutorial. I also set up the webhook in Hotmart, everything was fine. The test is ok, it turns green. But when I create a new automation in ManyChat and set the Hotmart trigger, it doesn't work. The contact doesn't reach ManyChat.

I capture the contact through the abandoned cart on my Hotmart payment page. The Hotmart integration in the log says that it successfully sent the data to ManyChat, but when I go to ManyChat the contact doesn't exist there. And because of that the automation trigger doesn't work.

I've done other tests, and it worked when the contact already existed previously in ManyChat. But I need this automation for abandoned carts, the contact is captured in the abandoned cart. And it doesn't go to ManyChat.

Please, can someone help me?

Same problem here 🙋‍♂️, let’s see if support can help solving this issue...

For those who are having the same problem. I did a lot of research, on Google, YouTube and even on Perplexity. I couldn't find anyone explaining how to solve it. But I managed to find an alternative to make it work:

The integration with Hotmart actually only works if the contact already exists in the Manychat database, that is, if you are going to use it for abandoned carts, this contact has to be one that was captured by a Manychat widget.

If it was captured by another ad campaign as direct traffic to the sales page, it won't work, because the contact wasn't captured by a Manychat widget.

But for these contacts, you can use Make to register the contact in Manychat, and then still in Make, mark the contact with a Tag, and then do the automation in Manychat with the Tag.

As for the Hotmart integration, for contacts that already exist in the Hotmart database, there is another problem that I can't believe they didn't think of. It doesn't allow you to select the product, but you can create a strategy using tags as well.

Hi there, exactly… I finally managed to make it work using Make, and I also had the same problem trying to filter the products (which is actually not possible as far as I understand). Basically, the native integration seems not to work properly or be missing some feature that perhaps will be added in the future.
