Hey everyone,

 

I’ve been building an SMS-only workflow for a restaurant client in ManyChat for the past three months, and I’ve hit a wall. The workflow is for a monthly recurring lunch program, where customers only need to scan the QR code once—either in the restaurant or from the website—to join. Once they’re in, they automatically receive a new discount each month via SMS. They can opt out at any time.

 

Each month, about five days before the end of the month, I manually update the workflow with:

• The new discount for the upcoming month

• New photos and fresh content to keep engagement high and prevent message fatigue

 

I’ve also designed the workflow so that if someone joins mid-month or toward the end of the month, they are placed at the appropriate point in the sequence—ensuring they don’t receive a full month’s worth of messaging for a discount that’s expiring soon. No matter when they join, the current discount always expires at the end of the month to keep everything aligned.

 

I’ve built out as much as I can, but I need help with:

• Reviewing my setup to identify what’s missing or needs fixing

• Troubleshooting issues, especially with Twilio (client has a Twilio account but not the Pro version, which may be causing some issues)

• Getting the QR code properly connected so it correctly adds people to the workflow

• Ensuring the workflow runs smoothly each month so the new discounts and updates go out properly

• Making sure people who join late in the month are placed in the right part of the sequence

• Identifying any other issues I may have missed, since I’m figuring this all out as I go

 

I also let my ManyChat Pro go since this is the only account I’m working on right now, and even the $15/month is more than I can afford at the moment. I’m operating under the restaurant’s ManyChat account as an admin. If ManyChat Pro is required to finalize this, I’d love some guidance on that as well.

 

I’m at a point where I need an expert to take a look, let me know what it would cost to fix/tweak things, and help me get this fully operational. Money is tight, but I’m willing to pay for the help.
