Do you have a screenshot of it?

You may be trying to connect it after a comments reply for example, and these have limitations…

Oh, that might be it. Thank you, Gustavo. I’ll try to do a workaround then or set a second trigger, which is probably my only option in that case...

Hi, can you please help me on that please, I think it is a similar question. I am trying to connect two messages with smart delay after post comment. I know there are some limitations but I am not sure what they are. The process below is not working due to that but is there any way I can fix it? I need to start it with a trigger when someone comment on post, then I would like to send a private message with an url link in a button and after that I would like to have a 1 hr delay and send a second private message. I couldn’t use smart delay after button so I used action add a tag. The second message is not being sent and I guess there is something wrong with a tag as there is more people who click on a button that tags in report. If it’s possible I would not like to use Quick Replies in that process. Is that possible somehow? On a screen trigger is disabled because the automation is off now- the first message is being sent without a problems. Thank you.

Add a message after the first button click, something like ‘great we’ll be in touch soon’, and it should work as you want.

Thanks! I am not able to add a message after a button click, it requires action ( unless I am missing something and there is a solution to do that) . I can add a new message after an action with a tag and I will check that for sure.

Ah ok, your button is a link.

So, change it to a normal button with a message following up, and then the button + link.

The button with the link will never let you trigger the 2nd message due to how IG works.

So if you want a follow up message you’ll need to change the structure of what you have.

Thanks a lot! All clear now and the process works perfectly. You made my day :)

I’m having the same issue. what do you mean by “change it to a normal button?”
