After our company recieved many comments in one day and using dm and comment automation, our account got banned from commenting.

Could you please contact your Instagram reps in order to solve the issue with them? If we are commenting to our own audience, then this unstated anywhere rules shouldn’t apply.

I beleieve that Manychat is offering this service, then you should sort it out with Instagram.

Hi, @nevvol,

Years ago, one of our accounts got the same “punishment”… and it had no binding with Manychat. It's frustrating… 😓 But this is an issue from Instagram's side. It searches for “uncommon” actions on accounts and, sometimes, because of a very little thing, this kind of situation happens.

What I've learned in the last years with big IG accounts:

  • For automated replies, set as many differente responses as possible.
  • If your audience interacts like crazy, turn the responses off.

I manage automations for ana account that receives thousands os comments with automations sometimes and it runs ok. But we have a team that interacts organically EVERY DAY. This reduces the possibility of any type of ban. 😉
