Hey team! I’m looking for a ManyChat expert who can help me fine-tune a detailed chatbot flow designed to guide users from initial engagement to scheduling a discovery call. This flow qualifies users based on industry type, business size, project goals, and readiness to make decisions. It also offers them options for additional resources if they’re not ready to proceed immediately.

Key areas I’d like assistance with:

  • Ensuring each interaction keeps the user’s attention and increases the likelihood they’ll proceed through the funnel.
  • Reducing complexity by identifying and eliminating any unnecessary steps to create a faster, smoother experience.
  • Enhancing the logic at each step (e.g., qualification questions, project timeline) to better tailor responses and improve conversion rates.
  • Refining follow-up messages and resource offers for users who don’t initially proceed to the discovery call.
  • And overall bulletproof the flow so that when a customer types instead of quick replies the response chain will continue.

If you have expertise in building or optimising ManyChat flows for lead generation and qualification, I’d love to hear your recommendations on how to make this flow more robust, engaging, and efficient. Thank you!

Hey @Ben_Base

It sounds like you’re working on a solid flow! I’ve helped design and optimize ManyChat bots for similar lead generation and qualification goals, so I’d be happy to share a few quick tips that might help streamline your process:

  1. Keep Engagement High: For each interaction, consider framing questions conversationally and breaking down complex questions into simpler, single-choice steps. This helps maintain attention, especially during longer flows.

  2. Simplify the Journey: To reduce complexity, try mapping out each step and asking, “Is this essential?” Any steps that don’t directly guide the user toward a decision point can often be simplified or combined, which creates a faster path to conversion.

  3. Dynamic Qualification Logic: Tailoring questions based on prior answers (like business size or project goals) is a smart move. Make sure each response path feels personalized to the user’s specific situation—this can be as simple as adding a few custom fields and filters to tweak responses based on their answers.

  4. Follow-up Strategies: For those who don’t initially book a call, you could experiment with segmenting follow-up messages based on their engagement and readiness. Offering a tailored resource or a case study is a great way to keep them interested and nurture the lead.

  5. Bulletproofing: To prevent the flow from breaking when users type responses, consider adding AI intent detection or fallback messages at key points. This helps keep them in the flow even if they go off-script.

  6. Lean on AI: It’s now possible to have a trained AI connected to Manychat, with objectives and performing the lead qualification task. This frees the bot from using the standard Q&A style, let’s your audience have a conversation and have their questions answered, and can really boost the user experience.

If you’re open to discussing further, I’d love to chat to see if we’re a fit to work together on this. Feel free to DM me —happy to dive into the specifics!
