We do fibre support and I need to contact clients to request different information, is there a way to contact them without send a template and then asking what you need ?

There isn't. You either contact them within the 24 hours or you need to use templates on Whatsapp.
You may be able to get away with a Utility template instead of a Marketing template given the type of message you'll be sending. These are less expensive.
