Hi! I’m new to ManyChat and struggling with my first automation. I want to respond to users’ comments with a DM. For instance, if users comment “BOOKPREORDER” I will send them a Comment Reply with a button linking to preorder my book.  But I also want these users – who comment BOOKPREORDER – to have the option to sign up for my newsletter. Is it possible to send a second message AFTER my initial Comment Reply that has a new link? 

 

For some reason it seems like Comment Replies can only lead to an action, not to a second message! 

 

Would appreciate any help and insight. Thank you!

When you use the trigger “user comments on your post or reel”, the first blocks message can’t have a button with a link, because the 24-hour window will not open, and the further block won’t be sent.

 

That said, your first block message should include text and a simple button/quick reply. Something like a welcome message.


After the second block, you can add another blocks to send content or ask for user’s information to subscribe your newsletter.
