My SmartDelay to send a follow up instagram message does not work on any of my automations. Even when I wait the 24 hour period, check 2-3 days later, the SmartDelay still has not sent any of my follow up messages. Does anyone know how to get this trigger to work? This is my current flow:

 

Instagram follower comments on reel > I send them an automatic DM with the link to my ebook > SmartDelay to send a follow up message 2 days later asking if they had a chance to check out the link

First of all the smart delay is not connected to the previous flow - there’s no line connecting them.

 

The reason that you can’t connect it is because it’s a comment reply. For comment replies, you need an interaction (button click basically) before you can trigger other messages and automations. You don’t have that in your initial message.
