I went to the contact that I wanted to trigger the automation for and added the tag (the automation is public and the trigger is set to “on”) but the Instagram DM which is the next step in the automation after tag is added is not sending. Any advice?

Is the contact within the 24 hours?
If they’re not, then the message won’t send. This is a Meta rule, you can only message people within 24 hours after their last interaction.

I'm having the exact same problem, but with sending a message via messenger—it doesn't matter if it's within the 24-hour window or not. The system doesn't work and nothing gets sent.
