I created an automation to send a Whatsapp message to contacts I have on Manychat.
I have tried several triggers based on contacts but none send message. I have tried:
Contact subscribes to a sequence
Contact has a tag
But none work, from the automation I see that the trigger starts (I see the value 1-2 on the trigger) but the message is not sent then.
How can I solve this?
+6Is this the first message you’re sending the user, or are they already a subscriber on Whatsapp?
If it’s the first message, or if you’re messaging them after 24hrs from their initial message, you need to use paid message templates to message them.
Check Settings > Whatsapp > Message Templates.
