Looking to trigger a bot based off a user voting in a poll, unfortunately manychat doesnt have this yet so I am employing someone to message everyone who votes in the poll. I want my chatbot to begin messaging the user after the user responds to the message my employee sends.
What is the best way for me to do this?
Do I setup a trigger for a specific word and make the user reply quoting a certain word or is there a better way that I haven’t thought of.

But my suggestion is to use AI!
You can have your VA inviting them to engage and ask questions, and once they reply the trained bot connected to the Default Reply kicks in and leads the conversation.
We’re doing this for our clients, where we give the AI objectives (for example, answer questions, check interest, and capture their contact information to then send it to the CRM).
There are several ways to accomplish this. Manychat AI is an option, and you can also use the ChatGPT integration in Manychat.
For our clients we have custom built solutions integrated to Assistants API and their systems.

Thanks, do you have a link to anywhere I can research this, I wasn't having much luck with the built in manychat AI. Also what would the trigger step be to get manychat linked in? Is it something like this you are referring to on the quick reply?
+6The trigger would be the Default Reply (you can connect it in Settings > Instagram).

And no, I wouldn’t do it with a quick reply, I’d connect it directly to the AI and have the AI process what the person wrote.
Thanks, do you have an example of the prompt you use on chatgpt? How much detail should I give? Do you upload a knowledge base for chatgpt?

I want gpt to interpret if the answer is yes or no
If yes I want it to trigger one flow
if no I want it to trigger another flow
I added a condition but the flow doesn't seem to advance. Is this possible? Do I need to add an api step?
+6If it doesn’t advance it’s because ChatGPT is replying with something else and your flow is going to the red dot ‘The contact doesn’t match any of these conditions’. Add a test reply there to test and confirm.
If this is the case, you need to improve your prompt!
