URGENT - Problem with Instagram channel connection

Hello. I am encountering a strange bug with instagram. I have been running an IG account for almost a month and have over 9000 contacts, where manychat has worked perfectly for.

The other day I changed one setting on the linked facebook account, changing the Instagram receiver from the default (nothing selected) → manychat. Since then, nothing is working. When people type a keyword, they do not get the connected automation. Conversations arent masked as open. All the functionality of manychat has stopped.

 

My instagram has 0 issues, and i can still message people fine on there, they do not show up on manychat. People messaging my profile do not show-up as a new contact on manychat.

 

I have colleuges that run instagram pages, where the IG-manychat connection is still working fine. And even if i try a new account it works fine, there is just something broken here.

 

Has anyone else encountered this before? or know of a fix? I need help ASAP

@Max112233 make sure your instagram account is connected with manychat,sometimes page connection lost.and manychat should be set as primary receiver.

Hello Aafia, i appreciate the reply. My account is connected with manychat! It shows that both on the meta and manychat side of things. When people contact my page though, they dont even show up as a new contact, let alone get any of the automations i have set-up.

Do you have any other ideas?

Are you refreshed your instagram permissions?

Yes i have refreshed both facebook and instagram permissions after doing this. I have been through the basic troubleshooting steps for hours with no luck yet

THanks for the reply Gustavo. I have tried everything in that documentation but its still not working. I contacted support 3 days ago, but have not heard back in the past 2 days. Are you able to get someone to help me please
