I have purchased a WhatsApp number through Manychat, and I wonder if I can also use it by downloading a WhatsApp business app on my phone. (as a separate number, of course).
If so, how can I get the authentication code? (Whatsapp sends an authentication SMS to the number I have purchased, but I have no place or device to receive it.)

Nope, you can’t.
If the number is connected to Manychat you can only use it in Manychat.
You can however download the Manychat App on your phone and have access to the conversations using the Live Chat option.

+6You cannot use the Whatsapp Business App and Manychat at the same time.
You can use Whatsapp connected ONLY to Manychat, and then use the Manychat App on your phone.
😬😬😬 something does not make sense to me. Let’s assume that I am a business owner, and I want to connect my own number and build a chatbot with ManyChat, what should I do? Just keep my regular WhatsApp app on my phone?

+6A Whatsapp number can be connected to ONLY ONE of these at a time:
If it’s connected to one, IT CANNOT BE CONNECTED TO ANY OTHER.
This is a WhatsApp limitation.
That’s why the general recommendation is to get a new number to connect Whatsapp to Manychat.

Hi! I also purchased whatsapp through manychat, im trying that when the costumers use my WhatsApp they can see the business name and the logo in the picture but I haven't figured out yet where to change this, do you know?

It doesn’t make any sense you can’t use it in both places.
