how to receive whatsapp voice message, and send it to external request?
also the external request only allows 9 seconds waiting time , how to adjust that ?

Thanks in advance!

The only way to do it is to use the data collection option and set it to Audio (or File).

Once the person sends the audio, Manychat will give you the URL of the audio.

As for the 10 seconds timeout in the external requests, there’s no way to adjust that.

If your domain is openai.com then the wait time is higher.

If you’re using another domain, then you need to send the request, end that flow, and then have your automation trigger a flow once it’s done its job.

Thanks Gustavo

the problem is i don’t know when the user will send the audio, if the user send a text instead, it will rely “Please upload a file using WhatsApp (just click an icon according to the file format)”

@eric yes that’s a problem.

Hopefully Manychat will implement it soon! 🙏

Hello Gustavo, how are you? I ask you, how do you say what needs to be done for the data collection when they send audios or images? with a conditional? Because I can't find a way to identify "audio" or "image" . Thank you in advance!!

Hey @Dante_Cilli right now it’s not possible to capture it on the Default Reply trigger. Feel free to upvote the feature request I mentioned so we can put pressure on Manychat to develop this ;)
