How to Connect Manychat to ChatGPT (Free template)

What is the benefit of this vs using the built in AI chatbot that manychat has?

I think the built-in AI Chatbot could have some improvements. AI Intents is great, but then you still need to create seperate flows for each intent. I think the AI Step can be improved, because it is too rigid. If a user chooses to not follow the script that you set with the AI step, it cannot handle it. And I think that’s a drawback, because AI itself is usually capable of being that flexible.

I have followed your video tutorial in setting up flow to connect Chatgpt with Manychat... A week later, and the dialouge is still not flowing.

Copied it step by step, and then moved onto try another way.

Was just surprised to see your post here right at the beginning of it all..

​@Growth Focused If you follow all the steps, it should work correctly.
What’s not working on your end? Maybe you can share a video of your setup in Manychat, in Make and then trying out the integration (showing an error if there is).

Then we can troubleshoot this!

Yes sure I can do that where would you like me to do that ?

1. it doesnt remember what we have spoken about
   
   B) its not able to hold a continuous dialouge. 
   
   C) it stops replying and, will need to trigger reply by entering one of the prompt key words.
   
   
   * The video you created… it leaves out (i feel) critical elements that a beginner user like myself needs guidance on..
   
   For instance… When you start clicking things like GPT Question, to be added to a block there…
   
   There is no instruction or insight, that expresses, hey you will need to create specific fields…
   
   Nor does Manychat walk you through that process.

​@Growth Focused I think you should rewatch my videos. The action you’re using in your automation is not the one I use in my video. If you follow all steps in my video, you have a working integration!

That’s odd! I will rewatch video now and let you know if it works.

This is where i am at. 

For both of those two boxes with a red (1) in them, the option wasnt to click OK in the bottom right corner, It was SAVE.

Whats it missing Joren?

And below is Green OPen AI/CHAT GPT box selected.

This is the default template that shows up when u click download and then import file…

I deleted the red ones above pictures to make the flow look like yours in youtube video… didnt work, 

 

you see bottom right.. Doesnt say OK, Just save

I redid the whole thing as well after talking to the AI on the site.

It wont say OK in the bottom right corner at the beginning stages of this flow.

Followed all the steps up to here. What is missing Joren?
