🚨 ManyChat + ChatGPT: Auto-Reply to Instagram Voice Messages!

Hey Manychat Community!

In my new video, I show you how to auto-reply to voice messages using ChatGPT and Manychat.

We’ll set it up so that when somebody sends a voice message in the DMs, Manychat grabs that voice message and sends it to ChatGPT.

ChatGPT transcribes it and gives a response. And then we send it right back to Manychat.

By the end of this video, you have a fully automated system that automatically replies to voice messages with AI.

And I’ll give you the template for free, so that you can copy and paste it.

      Thanks a lot for sharing this video – it’s super helpful and inspiring! 🙌

      I was wondering: do you know if it’s possible to do something similar with WhatsApp instead of Instagram? I’m trying to set up an AI agent via ManyChat that can automatically detect and reply to voice messages on WhatsApp using GPT (via n8n or Make).

      However, I noticed that, unlike Instagram, WhatsApp doesn’t populate the “last input” with a media URL when a user sends a voice message. So I’m struggling to find a clean way to detect voice messages inside ManyChat.

      Any ideas or workarounds you’d suggest?

      Hi Joren!, thanks for sharing your knowledge and creating such a useful integration for ManyChat. The voice recognition integration in Make runs correctly, but the final response is no longer delivered in Instagram (it used to work, but not anymore). I've checked permissions, settings, and credits, but everything seems to be in order. I'm wondering if the issue might be related to Meta's policies and restrictions, or if you have any insight into it. Thanks in advance for your time and help 🙏🏻.

        Yesterday, there was an issue with Manychat API, so that might be it. If it’s not working today, please create a video of the setup and add it as a post in the community!
