Yes, more triggers are coming soon. We will support them as soon as they are available on TikTok side. Please remember that this Closed Beta is work in progress on all sides and it is being built as we speak :)

hey @Natalie Evseyeva :) I’m having the same issue as Mackenzie. I received the acceptance email, but the tiktok channel hasn’t populated under my settings yet,

Ok I set up my automation and it does work. But what is not working is when you add your link to that same text box that your are telling them to grab the freebie people are unable to click on that link or it’s just to much to try to copy and paste it into the browser. They should be able to get the link, click it and go straight to the product. 

Can you give me some kind of clarity?

1. I created the trigger to let them know I’m sending the freebie (but having the link and the freebie information is too much and it won’t let them just copy the link. They would need to copy the whole thing and split it up just to get the link. 
2. So, I created a second trigger with just the link. 

I think that’s to many steps

There is an option to create an automation by using a DM Keyword trigger. And also there are features that are available under TikTok settings section: e.g., you can set up a Welcome message to greet your new follower in DMs, or Default Reply that can be sent to pick up any question people ask you in DMs :)

Thank you Nami and team for working so hard to get this across the line. How can I best support this beta group as a foodie content creator? From my brief reading, it looks as though someone could potentially DM me a keyword (for example, NOODLE) and I could reply to them with a text based recipe? Would a link work, or is this being worked on currently? 
 

I use ManyChat on Instagram with a “comment ‘recipe’ and I’ll send the recipe to your DMs”. This has increased engagement and website traffic exponentially. I just wanted to say thank you for that!

Thanks for your question! Exactly: automation right now power DM automation. That being said, anyone who will DM you a specific keyword that you set up, will be able to receive your automation. Manychat also supports different DM entry points, such as Welcome message, Suggested questions, and Default Reply. 

Comment automation (the one you refer to on IG) is not supported as of right now, but TikTok team is working hard on making it available.

What we suggest doing as a workaround for the time being, is asking your followers to DM you a keywords (instead of commenting).

I have one of my clients I’m trying to get connected to TikTok. I see TikTok as an option in Manychat settings, but when he goes to connect his TikTok to it, it is not an option. Is there something I need to do from my end to allow him to connect his TikTok account to his Manychat?
