Hi ​@Natalie Evseyeva!

I have one of my clients I’m trying to get connected to TikTok. I see TikTok as an option in Manychat settings, but when he goes to connect his TikTok to it, it is not an option. Is there something I need to do from my end to allow him to connect his TikTok account to his Manychat?

Hey ​@Mackensie 👋 There are 2 possible reasons your client may not be able to connect their TikTok account:

  • Currently, TikTok automations are only available for TikTok business accounts, so if they have a creator or personal account, they would need to switch to a business account.
  • The other possible reason it’s not working is if they are based in the US, Europe or UK. TikTok automations are not available in these geos yet. We’re working with the TikTok team to be able to launch in the US soon, stay tuned for more updates!

Hey ​@Ktrenum 👋 I’m guessing you’re based in Europe, UK or the US? TikTok automations are not currently available for these regions. However, we’re working with the TikTok team to be able to launch in the US soon, and we’ll look into Europe and UK next. Please stay tuned for more updates 🙏

Hi ​@NamiFromManychat I have a couple of clients connected with TikTok that are in the US. Is this a recent limitation?

Hey ​@Mackensie! Yes, unfortunately, for the time being US based users will also not be able to connect but we are working with TikTok team to make it possible soon.

Ok I set up my automation and it does work. But what is not working is when you add your link to that same text box that your are telling them to grab the freebie people are unable to click on that link or it’s just to much to try to copy and paste it into the browser. They should be able to get the link, click it and go straight to the product. 

 

Can you give me some kind of clarity?

 

  1. I created the trigger to let them know I’m sending the freebie (but having the link and the freebie information is too much and it won’t let them just copy the link. They would need to copy the whole thing and split it up just to get the link. 
  2. So, I created a second trigger with just the link. 

I think that’s to many steps

 

If I understood it correctly, links are not available yet.. so, there’s no way to send links for them to click

Hi ​@Natalie Evseyeva, I’m receiving this error when I attempt to connect my TikTok (US) account as a channel for Manychat? this is impacting a paid partnership I’m trying to run… can you advise on how I resolve? I thought Manychat x TikTok was live in US…

Hi! I received the official invitation to join the Manychat’s TikTok Beta program and I'm excited to start testing automations. However, when I try to connect the TikTok channel under the “Channels” section, I receive a message saying it's not available in my country.

Is there a way to solve this? If not, is there an estimated timeline or any workaround to access it temporarily?
