We’re excited to announce a brand-new feature for WhatsApp on Manychat: Ice Breakers!

This update allows you to engage customers right from the start of their interaction with your business on WhatsApp.

What are Ice Breakers? Ice Breakers are pre-set questions that appear as clickable buttons at the beginning of a WhatsApp conversation. These buttons can help users find the information they need quickly, improving their experience and increasing engagement.

🔑 Key Benefits:

  • Proactive Assistance: Answer common questions before they’re even asked.
  • Seamless Navigation: Guide new contacts through your offerings or services.
  • Enhanced Engagement: Provide an option to connect with a human agent or trigger specific automations.

How to Set It Up: Setting up Ice Breakers is simple! Navigate to Settings > WhatsApp > Ice Breakers, and add up to four questions. Link these to your existing automations, and you’re good to go!

⚠️ We have recently noticed a bug in some iOS devices, and advice the users to contact WhatsApp application support directly to report this issue.

Hi @Lucas Lopes @KIA Motors thank you for reporting it!

It’s a bug, but as a Business Solution Provider, we can’t report or create tickets for app-related issues directly - the users will need to contact WhatsApp application support directly to report this issue.  Thank you for understanding!

Does using Ice Breakers count as a conversation that is started by the client or by the business (and then is this charged to the business)?
